Simulation/demonstration of wave propagating in glass (bounded electrons)!!!
Convensions:
X = (plasmaFrequency squared)/(frequency squared).
Y = (total gyrofrequency)/(frequency).
Suggested Sessions:
Session for visible light and refraction index > 1
(dens medium; frequency has to be lower than the absorption frequency (the frequency associated with the boundedness
of the electrons))

(reflection medium;frequency is higher than the absorption frequency, but not too high)

BUTTONS.
general:
The buttons are of three types: pure textButtons, valueButtons and locationButtons.
All buttons can have an activity associated with it.
A textbutton can be active or not active; is changed when clicking on it.
A valueButton's value can be change by moving the cursor over it and click when satisfied.
A loactionButton clicked upon will give back a location within the button.
Specific "visible" buttons:
launch: A plane polarized (x-y) wave will be transmitted.
freq: valueButton holding the used frequency for the pulse.
plsL: valueButton holding the puslelength.
ds: and dz: valueButtons for numerical differences in time and space for the wave equation.
plFreq: value button for the plasmafrequency(parameter) in the region above lower and upper border
if a constant medium else the maximumvalue.
gyrFrqLong: valueButton for the electron gyrofrequency in the constant magnetic field
along the wave path.
gyrFrqTrans: valueButton for the electron gyrofrequency in the constant magnetic field
at
right angle to the wave path.
abspFreq: valueButton holding the absorption frequency.
constIono (sinusIono): Textbutton showing up with one of two different texts.
gndRefl: textButton if it is red, the ground will reflect downcomming pulses.
Two localization Buttons.
LocationButton just to the left of the vertical field line:Select a place in the medium by clicking.
LocationButton just to the right of the vertical field line:Select a place in the medium for the
graphics of the dispersion curve to the right.
Four specialDesigned buttons.
Ovals: Will display the electric field at selected places in the medium.
An associated place will be selected by first select a place in the medium with the "toTheLeft" locationButton
and then click on the actual oval to associate that place.
Either (ex,ey) or (ex,ez) can be displayed. Select by clicking on ey (or ez)
allready made experiments.
