The solar-powered car Nuna II visited Sweden 16-21 August
and was at Esrange and in Ferrum Park in Kiruna on 21 August.

The solar-powered car Nuna II was in Kiruna on Saturday 21 August. It was displayed at Esrange in Ferrum Park in central Kiruna. Nuna II is a collaboration between the European Space Agency, ESA, and Delft University of Technology in Holland. IRF has delivered instruments to several ESA satellites. For instance at the moment IRF is involved in the ESA spacecraft, SMART-1, which is completely powered by solar energy and is en route to the moon.

Nuna II was part of an Open Day at Esrange, and was later on display in Ferrum Park in central Kiruna [Pictures]. IRF also participated when Nuna II visited the Ångström Laboratory in Uppsala on Wednesday 18 August.
